In the West we meet the energy of sunset, gathering evening, of autumn, and adulthood. Here, we call our energy back in after the full expansion of summer in the South, condensing back to ourselves.
The West calls us to back to connection with the physical body and with the tangible, earthly aspects of this life. On the Celtic Medicine Wheel, water is the element associated with the West, so we seek connection with the body in a fluid and intuitive way, grounding but remaining in flow. The herbs in this blend gently stimulate lymphatic flow and cleansing through the waters of the body as well as being rich in nutrients that strengthen the bones, skin, hair, and connective tissues.
