A women’s circle, working through the deep and powerful medicine of Hawthorn, inviting you to wander the terrain of your heart, your wounds both past and present, healed and open, to explore your connection with your wildish nature and how you are able to express it.

We will be gathering together in a yurt nestled in some woodland in Balerno, to sit in circle, honouring ourselves and one another as we explore the depth of Hawthorns medicine, the memories of our own hearts in whatever space of wounding or healing they may be, and our connection to our own intuition, our innate wisdom, our wildish natures.
We will share hawthorn berry infusion, moving together through a meditative tasting to meet this powerful medicine.
We will talk of hawthorns medicinal virtues - physical, energetic, spiritual - and share some of the rich folklore surrounding this tree of the fae.
We will journal, taking time to dive deep into our understanding of the themes and questions hawthorn’s medicine evokes within us.
And finally we will journey, dreaming into our spiritual connection with hawthorn, with ourselves, with our hearts.
Many of you will know my love for hawthorn runs deep! So holding a circle to honour and explore her potent medicine is always a source of joy for me but for this particular gathering we will also be joined by talented harpist, Sian Shepherd, a specialist in Celtic folk music.
The ancients opened portals between land and heart with the melodies of clarsach, casting a musical tapestry to wander between worlds. The lull of this sweet song is the perfect accompaniment to hawthorns magic and I cannot wait to share in it with you.

You need no prior experience of herbal medicine to join. All you’ll need for the evening is yourself, a pen, and plenty of layers incase an early autumn chill gathers with us!
